The Chennai Super King's 10 support staff, including an Indian players have been tested positive for Covid-19 in Dubai. The Chennai Super Kings was tested for Covid-19 on Thursday.
According to Source, now Chennai Super King has also extended his quarantine period after this incident. where players were to start practice from yesterday, now that has also been extended.
As per the IPL's Covid-19 protocols, all teams had to undergo a test as they landed at the airport, from there they had to stay inside the hotel for 6 days quarantine and during quarantine teams undergo test on day 1, 3 and 5. Positive result of 10 support staff, including an Indian players of Chennai Super king came from Covid-19 testing of 5th day.
Keeping the Coronavirus situation across the world, IPL 2020 Organized in UAE this time, The UAE government issued strict protocols were every players will have to undergo 2 Covid-19 test and will be allowed to play only if the reports comes negative.
