Chennai Super Kings one more player tests Corona positive, Suresh Raina to miss playing IPL 2020 this year

After Deepak Chahar, CSKs another players Ruturaj Gaikwad tests Covid-19 positive today. Yesterday, Chennai Super King's  12 members including 1 player were tests positive with Covid-19 but along with them today, One more player Ruturaj Gaikwad has been tests Positive. Now, total 13 members including 2 player's  of the Chennai Super Kings have been infected with the corona virus. 

After Csk Corona  positive, the hotel of all 13 infected players has been changed and are being monitored under doctor's supervision. However Chennai Super King has not yet officially Revealed the names of the 13 infected players. 

According to IPL's standing Operating Procedures (SOPs), all those who have found tests positive will now need to undergo 2 weeks quarantine after also have to be negative in two Corona tests. The practice Session of Chennai Super King has also been extended further. The infected players will now be taken back to the squad only after the negative test. 

 

Suresh Raina Not Playing IPL this Year

Suresh Raina not playing  IPL 2020 after opting to return home due to "personal reasons". The franchise has confirmed this news on their Twitter Account. It is notable that Suresh Raina declared his retirement from international cricket soon after Dhoni's retirement on 15 August. 

Fans were hoping to see the pair of MS Dhoni and Suresh Raina back in the IPL 2020 but that will not be completed this year. Suresh Raina not to be in IPL 2020, this will be a big blow for Chennai Super King.
